Unleash the Fire, álbum que dá sequência às atividades do Riot (agora sob o nome Riot V), será lançado entre 22 e 27 de outubro na Europa e dia 28 do mesmo mês na América do Norte, por meio da SPV/Steamhammer. Um trailer para o disco pode ser conferido ao final do texto.
Sucessor de Immortal Soul (2011), o primeiro trabalho da banda norte-americana após o falecimento do guitarrista e membro fundador, Mark Reale, estará disponível em quatro formatos. As opções disponíveis são: CD convencional, edição digipack limitada com uma faixa bônus, LP em vinil azul (duplo), incluindo a mesma música extra, e download digital.
A atual formação da banda inclui o vocalista Todd Michael Hall (Burning Starr, Reverence), o guitarrista Mike Flyntz, que dividiu as seis cordas com Reale por mais de duas décadas, o baixista e compositor Don Van Stavern, o baterista Frank Gilchriest (Virgin Steele, Liege Lord) e o novo guitarrista Nick Lee.
