Produzido por Jens Bogren (Opeth, Amon Amarth, Bloodbath), o disco marca a estreia do guitarrista David Andersson (Night Flight Orchestra). A arte da capa foi criada por Mircea Eftemie Gabrie, da banda Mnemic. Justin Sullivan, vocalista do New Model Army, faz uma participação especial na música The Windswept Mercy.
