A Frontiers Records lançará Angels of the Apocalypse, o segundo álbum do Timo Tolkki’s Avalon, em 16 de maio na Europa e dia 20 do mesmo mês na América do Norte. Sucessor de The Land of New Hope (2013), o trabalho teve suas gravações realizadas no East Sound Studio, em Helsinque, Finlândia.
O novo disco conta com a participação dos seguintes músicos:
* Timo Tolkki (ex-Stratovarius, Revolution Renaissance, Symfonia): guitarras, baixo e teclados
* Tuomo Lassila (ex-Stratovarius): bateria
* Antti Ikonen (ex-Stratovarius): teclados
* Nicholas Jeudy: orquestrações
* Floor Jansen (Nightwish, ReVamp, ex-After Forever); Simone Simons (Epica), Fabio Lione (Angra, Rhapsody of Fire), David DeFeis (Virgin Steele), Zachary Stevens (Circle II Circle, ex-Savatage), Elize Ryd (Amaranthe) e Caterina Nix: vocais
Assim como no CD anterior, a capa também foi criada pelo artista francês Stanis W. Decker. A bela ilustração pode ser conferida acima.
